Kurukshetra’s GT Road echoed with gunfire late Tuesday night during an encounter between CIA-1 personnel and suspected gangsters near Umri and Samanbahu villages. In the exchange, two gangsters — identified as Sunil and Amosh from Punjab — sustained bullet injuries to their legs, while a third suspect was captured unharmed.
The injured were rushed to Loknayak Jayaprakash Hospital in Kurukshetra for treatment. Authorities are investigating to determine which gang the trio is linked to and what criminal activity they were allegedly planning.
The incident has heightened security in the area, with police maintaining a close watch to prevent further disturbances.
