Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann gave the Speaker a little padlock on Monday, sparking a heated debate in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, cm Mann fierce argument with Pratap bajwa got heated up quickly . Mann’s gesture represented his wish to restrict opposition members inside the House during proceedings. Chief Minister Mann launched a rhetorical tirade against the opposition, citing their disruptive actions and the necessity for the House to run smoothly as justifications for their mandate. Despite the Speaker’s appeals, confrontations persisted, with Chief Minister Mann issuing warnings and engaging in verbal sparring with Opposition MLAs.

CM Mann fierce argument with Pratap bajwa

In the midst of a furious dispute in the state assembly between Congress MLA and LoP Partap Singh Bajwa and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the former asks, “Who do Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi sit with? alongside me. Ever sit with them before? You are, in a sense, entering into agreements with us on seat sharing. Tell Sonia and Rahul Gandhi to go ahead and deny us seats in the Lok Sabha for Gujarat, Delhi, and Kurukshetra.

The dispute started when CM Mann presented the Speaker a lock and keys as a gift, stating that they ought to be placed on the House door to prevent the Opposition from leaving and allowing them to hear the truth while seated here. He claimed that because the governor was telling the truth, not even his speech could be finished. He claimed that although the opposition will want to flee by inventing justifications, this should not be permitted to happen.

This infuriated opposition leader Pratap Singh Bajwa. According to CM Bhagwant Mann, he would provide an additional lock so that Bajwa could wear it on his mouth as well. This sparked a caustic exchange of words between the two presidents.

Bhagwant Mann said, “Sit quietly otherwise the discussion will go to smuggling of gold biscuits”. The Chief Minister said that when I talk about Guru Amar Das Ji, people are chanting slogans against him. They will not even get a place in hell. He declared that he had already liberated his village from Sukhpal Khaira. Mann advised Congress, “You also get rid of it, or else it will clean you up.”

The CM took a jab at Bajwa, stating that occasionally those people’s lives hardly endure one or two days. I am not implying that Bajwa Sahib lived a brief life. Mann remarked, “I will allow them to sit on my chair for thirty minutes if they would like, just to feel like a Chief Minister at least.”

“You learn in a convent, but you have no speech.” Mann continued, “You can’t even pass a 25-mark Punjabi test.”
